My name is Karen and live on Long Island in New York State. I am currently in my 40s. I am a College graduate with an AAS Degree in Office Technology - Legal. I am still a Legal Secretary still to this day. Married for almost 20 years and mother of a teenage boy with Autism. I have a dog, a little Maltipoo, Max.
I was never a book person. Television and movies have always been my escape from reality. Then Twilight was released in the movies. I got curious to see if the book was better, and what, if anything, was left out. So I bought the book. That was on a Thursday, by that Sunday I had read all four books. From there I was so hooked I wanted to see what grown up Vampires would be like. Black Dagger Brotherhood and a Kindle to load them on a week later, and the rest is history.
My Kindle is my crack. At this moment, I have almost 4,000 books in my library. I read a very diverse genre of books. As long as there is some kind of romance, I will read it. In order to keep track of what I thought about my books, I decided to start a blog. That was two years ago. Now, I participate in blog tours, and I have started Beta Reading for authors I just simply adore! It is surreal that I am actually friends with these authors. I am deeply honored for their friendship.
Recently I bought my domain name so that I don't have to worry about other peoples idea of what I can and cannot put on my blog.
